The first part of the session is an intake for me to get a better idea of what you’re bringing into the office that day. Once you’ve indicated what’s going on with you and where you’d like me to focus, I’ll do an energy balancing.
If you're also there for massage, I’ll then leave the room, and you can undress to your comfort level. With the remaining time, I’ll focus on the hands on bodywork, including a mixture of the various types of modalities I’ve studied, based on what I feel like will work best with your body.
What’s most important to me is that you are comfortable! For just an energy balancing session, you’ll be fully clothed the entire time. For the joint energy balancing/bodywork session, I usually tell clients to undress to their comfort level-- so that depends on you! Some clients choose to keep undergarments on, some choose to wear loose fitting clothing, some choose to remove everything. I only uncover the area I’m working on, so you will be draped by a sheet and blanket the whole time.
My studio is located in North West Longmont, Colorado.
I love working with first-time clients! I explain everything ahead of time, and really try to make it so it’s as comfortable for you as possible. Some clients choose to sleep, some clients choose to chat with me, It’s entirely up to you. I just ask that you let me know if there’s ever anything you need me to do differently.
One of the modalities I’ve learned to incorporate is Accunect® It is a simple energy balancing that uses a form of muscle testing to determine what, in a person’s entire being, is ready to shift. By tapping over the head and the heart, it engages the body’s natural ability to heal. It’s subtle, it’s noninvasive, and it can be both incredibly powerful yet quite relaxing. I’ve found that, by incorporating it into sessions, the work I do has longer lasting effects. For more information on Accunect®, visit their website: www.accunect.com.

Zen Shiatsu was the first modality we learned as students in my massage program. It is an eastern based approach at studying and working with the body that focuses on how the chi, or energy, flows along certain pathways called meridians in the body. By helping balance the flow of energy, the entire body/mind/spirit of a person is similarly affected.
Because I set aside the time for you, I appreciate at least 24 hours notice, when possible. I understand that sometimes life happens (for both of us!), so I allow for one missed appointment. After that, there will be a 50% charge for any missed session without 24 hour notice.
While it is customary to tip a massage therapist (as you would tip your hairdresser or waiter/waitress), it is appreciated, though not expected, when you come to see me.
Absolutely! I love the clients I get to work with, and I am honored when you think the work I offer could benefit someone else. The best way to build my business has been through referrals, so please spread the word! If I can’t help them, I have a wonderful network of practitioners I can help point them in the right direction to someone who is the best fit for them.
