Sometimes we wait to book a session, or take care of ourselves, or jump out into the adventure we feel called to.
We wait until..
… we’ve lost weight?
… life settles down?
… we’re healthier?
… we feel better about ourselves?
Stop waiting.
I want to see you and walk with you exactly as you are. Flaws, insecurities, imperfections, everything. Because when you’re in my office, I don’t see you that way. I don’t.
People often ask me if it’s harder to work on certain types of people:
...heavier
...muscular
...smelly
...sweaty
I don’t see you that way. I don’t. And if you’ve ever received a session from me, my prayer is that you’ve sensed that.
You want to know how I see you?
I see you like me: Trying to navigate this thing called life in this vessel called a body that sometimes cooperates but most often confuses. I’m looking for what’s ready to work with me, at whatever layer. I’m looking for what’s ready. That’s it.
And I’m praying my own insecurities don’t get in the way of me seeing it.
Because I’d hate to get in the way of you being free to be completely you. Because he’s incredible. She’s beautiful. You’re worth it.
So… stop waiting. For whatever it is you’re waiting for.
Because I don’t see you that way.
I don’t. I can’t.
You’re way too beautiful… too intricately designed… too valuable.
And you’re worth it.
